With a more recent team I did 1:1 with everyone asking:
- What do you think is the goal of the company?
- What do you think is the goal of the project? (the team was developing a long term product)
- What do you think the company expects from you?
- What else do you bring to the table?
Depending on the previous answer I asked about his/her skills and if there is someone that needs to be improved or wants to improve.
The last question was:
- What do you expect from me?
Then I asked about fears or things about the project that worries him.
After all the questions I did a team meeting sharing my answers to all the questions
